2. Description of Service
researchwith.ai is a platform that allows users to upload, read, and analyze PDF documents using AI-powered tools. We provide intelligent document analysis, question-answering capabilities, and content highlighting while maintaining the security and privacy of your content.
3. User Accounts
To use our service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Register for an account with valid information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
4. File Upload Restrictions
When using our document upload features, you agree to the following restrictions:
- Maximum file size: 20MB per document (100MB for Pro subscribers)
- Supported format: PDF files only
- You may also access papers via arXiv ID or publicly accessible PDF URLs
- You must have the right to upload and analyze the documents you submit
5. AI Usage Guidelines
When using our AI-powered features:
- AI responses are provided as assistance and should not be considered as professional advice
- Always verify important information by referring to the original document
- Do not attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI system
- Rate limits apply to ensure fair access for all users
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload any illegal or unauthorized content
- Violate any intellectual property rights
- Attempt to breach or circumvent our security measures
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal usage patterns
7. Content and Copyright
You retain all rights to the content you upload to researchwith.ai. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content for the purpose of providing our service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to upload and analyze any documents.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations
Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We are not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated content.
10. Free Trial and Referral Program
New subscribers may be offered a one-month free trial. A payment method is collected up front, and unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and your payment method is charged. One free trial is available per customer.
Every account has a personal referral link. You earn 14 bonus free days per successful referral, up to a maximum of 90 bonus days in total.
A referral is only rewarded once the person you referred has paid for at least one month of a subscription. Signing up, starting a free trial, or cancelling before the first payment does not earn bonus days. Bonus days are applied to your own subscription, either by extending your free trial or as account credit, and they have no cash value and are not transferable or refundable.
You may not refer yourself, and you may not create or use additional or fraudulent accounts to generate referrals. We may withhold or revoke bonus days, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably believe the referral program is being abused. We may change or end the referral program at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
