What happens to my uploaded PDFs?
Your uploaded PDFs are securely stored and processed to enable AI-powered analysis. We extract text content to provide intelligent answers to your questions. Your documents are private and only accessible to you. When you ask questions, relevant excerpts are sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) for processing, but this data is not used for training their models. We do not sell or share your content with other third parties.
Are there any usage limits?
Yes, we have usage limits to ensure fair access for all users. Free users have limited daily queries and document uploads. Subscribers get higher limits based on their plan. Check your profile page to see your current usage and limits.
What is the maximum file size?
The maximum file size for PDF uploads is 5MB. If your document is larger, consider splitting it into smaller sections or compressing the PDF before uploading.
What file formats are supported?
Currently, we support PDF files only. You can upload PDFs directly, enter an arXiv paper ID (e.g., 2301.00001), or provide a URL to a publicly accessible PDF.
How do I open an arXiv paper?
You can open arXiv papers in two ways: 1) Enter the arXiv ID directly (e.g., "2301.00001" or "arxiv:2301.00001"), or 2) Paste the full arXiv URL. The paper will be automatically fetched and processed.
What AI models are available?
We offer multiple AI models to suit different needs. Free users have access to efficient models for basic queries. Subscribers can access more powerful models for complex analysis and longer documents. You can select your preferred model in the reader interface.
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Our AI provides helpful analysis based on the document content, but it may occasionally make mistakes. Always verify important information by checking the original text. The AI highlights relevant passages so you can confirm its responses.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you have full control over your data. You can delete individual papers from your library, and you can request complete account deletion through your profile settings or by contacting support.
